Even Japanese TV Is Baffled By New Anti-Stress Technique “Adult Wrapping”

Ever wanted to crawl up into a little ball and re-enter the comfort and warmth of ya mum’s womb?
nooooooo
A few folk over in Japan are keen on the idea, and thus, Otona Maki, (or “adult wrapping”) has been born on national TV.
The freaky-lookin practice involves being tightly wrapped in soft, breathable cloth for periods of 15 – 20 minutes.
It’s supposed to give people the feels they had in the womb, creating a sense of security.
While it looks like some sort of creepy hostage situation, it isn’t that crazy when you think about it.
When babbies are first borned, they’re usually wrapped up in tight cloth to give them the feels of safety. People who’ve tried Otona Maki reported feeling relaxed and even a little sleepy after the experience.
In Japan, some midwifes now perform wraps on mothers post-pregnancy so they can better understand how their babies feel. The wrapping also promotes flexibility and improves posture, supposedly.
