Bunnings Has Pivoted To Selling Workout Gear Now So You Can DIY Yr Isolation Rig

Arguably the biggest DIY project that people are undertaking during the shutdown is their own bods. I feel like there’s been a noticeable uptick in my friends signing up for Strava, and people are doing more exercise to just have a reason to get out of the house during the coronavirus pandemic. So naturally, Bunnings – the lords of DIY – has jumped on board with people wanting to craft their iso-rig, and are now selling exercise and workout gear.

First they buttered us all up with those delicious snags, and now they want us to work all of them off. Incredible stuff.

The iconic hardware giant has moved with the needs of the people who are stuck at home and can’t get to the gym by launching a line of Do It Yaself workout gear, essentially bringing the gym to your back shed/garage/house.

Everything’s at a pretty bloody good price too (maintaining that you can’t beat them on price, I guess) with mini arm and leg bikes right up to serious spin cycles.

If you’re more of a Kath Day-Knight and like to keep yourself trim, which does not make you a crim in this climate, you can order an elliptical cross trainer or even a fold-up treadmill for your garage gym.

Lord, this is dangerous for me and my bank balance, I tell ya what.

Are weights and being Impossibly Strong And Buff more your DIY plan for your isolation rig? Bunnings is also now selling strength and weights equipment, including benches, dumbbells, weighted vests, resistance bands, yoga mats, and a full fucking pull-up station.

I’ve been eyeing off a yoga mat for my recent return to my beloved Yoga With Adriene so maybe I should just…get this?

Holy shit you lot are all gonna be totally ripped when we go back to being in public, huh.

Not sure if there’s really a better time to set up your at-home shred station, so go have a peep at the Bunnings website to see everything they’ve got on offer.

And if you want to get some other DIY knowledge from the comfort of your own workbench/garage/shed, Bunnings has also launched its first Instagram live stream, DIY Live.

Now I’m just hoping Bunnings starts selling exercise clothing. Please, I want a sweet pair of leggings and a crop top in that green, white and red colour palette.
