A Sydney Wellness Studio Is Now Offering Legit Classes On Napping

There’s a fine art to the nap.
Nap for too short a time and wake up with mental blue balls; nap for too long and you’ll wake up sweaty, crabby and unsure of what millennium it is.
The folk at boutique psychology / mindfulness studio The Indigo Project in Sydney‘s Surry Hills know how invigorating a good old fashioned nap is, and that’s why they’ve introduced ‘Naptime‘ classes.
The 30 minute classes begin with a calming meditation, before you’re lulled off to catnap paradise by the studio’s instructors. Diiiiiiivoiiiine.

“They say adulting is getting through the day without a nap. We say adulting is fitting in a nap and feeling fab to get on with life’s responsibilities,” their website reads.
“Research has shown time and time again that a short sleep break can improve mood, alertness, concentration, and overall productivity – so why the heck not? Our nap-time class is perfect for a little mid-work escape and reboot. Chill out in a comfy space, get relaxed with a calming meditation then nap off that stress (or hangover).”
Most of their classes run in the middle of the day, so you can say BRB to the boss and duck out of the office for some much needed shut-eye. Sign me up, forever and always.
Single sessions are $12. A 10 class pass (valid for meditation 30, 45 and naptime) is $100. You can learn more about the studio here.
