Hoo boy has 2019 been a biggie for Ruel. Not only has he sold out shows across the country, he was the youngest solo artist to play the Sydney Opera House, he’s about to support Shawn Mendes on his Aus tour next month, and his second EP FREE TIME (released a mere few weeks ago) has already copped MILLIONS of streams on Spotify.
Last night the young gun played to a sold-out crowd at the Hordern Pavilion. His presence on stage was so solid, you almost forgot he’s only 16 years old.
Ruel played the perfect mix of bangers and the stuff that hits you right in the feels, all while effortlessly owning a room full of the most dedicated (and loudest) fans. No seriously, Ruel fans know how to make noise.
If you haven’t seen him live, you 100% should. Although, fair warning, you may feel a little unaccomplished afterwards.
Check out the pics for yourself.
