It’s been a hot minute since they’ve whipped around the capital cities – nearly two years, to be exact – but Ocean Alley has just announced a tour around Australia across May and June.

The northern beaches six-piece have just rounded out a run on a few summer festivals including Laneway, and have now revealed they’ll be bringing their infectious grooves to a few big stages across the country on the first Ocean Alley headline tour in a good while.

Joining the 2018 Hottest 100 winners on their hot lap around the country are Perth’s own Psychedelic Porn Crumpets and Dulcie, who I’m sure will keep head nodding and eyes closed with their blissful psych and indie pop. Predicting that rates of tye-die and long hair will be high at these shows, folks.

Ocean Alley has also been working on writing new music for the last year, which we’ve seen through three singles so far, and now we’re just waiting for a follow-up album from 2018’s Chiaroscuro. Give the people what they want, please.

The Ocean Alley headline tour kicks off with a hometown show for Porn Crumpets and Dulcie in Perth on May 1st, before flicking around to Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney for the transition from late autumn into winter. Suffice to say these shows will keep you pretty warm as the nights get progressively cooler.

And considering they have been playing for crowds like this, I’m also sure these shows are gonna sell like bloody hotcakes.
