You Can Now Get The Adorably Cubey ‘Pokémon Quest’ On Your Phone

If you’re a fan of the Pokémans, you’ll no doubt be aware of the new games coming out this year. While it’s not the best of the offerings, the adorable free-to-start Pokémon Quest is now available on iOS and Android devices.

The game was announced back in May and was immediately released on the Nintendo Switch with the promise of mobile later down the track. Different to the classic RPG games, Pokémon Quest is more like a brawler as opposed to the turn-based systems you might be used to in the franchise.

Set on the extremely cute Tumblecube Island, you’re tasked with luring various Pokémans to your base camps and battling the fuck out of them with a trio of your own monsters.

As I mentioned earlier, the game is free-to-start and includes in-app purchases, so just be aware of that. You can grab it right now from Google Play and the Apple App Store if you’re keen on giving it a whirl. If you’re into anything Pokémon and don’t mind the whole Minecraft cube-land aesthetic, you’ll probably dig the shit outta Pokémon Quest.

If you’re still struggling with what it actually is, you can suss out the new mobile trailer below.
