Microsoft’s Doing A Nerd Sleepover So You Can Try The New Xbox In Fkn Peace

The Xbox One X release is just around the corner, folks, but if you’re keen to give one a red hot go before you buy, Microsoft is giving you and your mates the chance the weekend before its launch.

It’s called the Xbox Stay N’ Play, a gaming-themed sleepover experience that means you and your pals will be able to play all you like without being hassled by the outside world. In other words, it’s a gamer’s fucking paradise.

Located in Pyrmont‘s Pirrama Park, the pop-up will open its doors on Friday the 3rd of November until Sunday the 5th. It’ll have four different suites, each with their own theme based around some of the massive games coming to the souped-up console. They include, Forza Motorsport 7, Assassin’s Creed: Origins and Minecraft.

It all works on a first in, first served basis, so if you’re keen to get involved you’ll want to jump on reservations now at their Eventbrite page. There’ll be two types of suite you can book: two-hour daytime slots for you and a mate, or overnight sleepovers. If you don’t make it into one of those, don’t sweat, they’ll have a walk-in lobby where you can try out the console from 8am to 8pm each day.

Each private suite includes a 4K HDR tele, Dolby Atmos enabled headsets, an Xbox One X with a bunch of enhanced games, and if you manage to score an overnight stay, an Xbox Onesie to take home with you.

The Xbox One X – dubbed the world’s most powerful console – is out in Australia on the 7th of November and will set you back $649 for the 1TB version.
