If you’re looking for a good laugh on your Wednesday morning, I got just the gear for you. Media company, 88Rising, posted a great video of rappers trying out VR on its YouTube channel recently and you simply must see it.

Originally pointed out by Kotaku, the variety of rappers are tasked with rescuing a small puppy from the end of a plank which is conveniently protruding from the edge of a tall building. There are also heaps of birds flying around. Like, a worrying number of birds. Anyway, there’s an actual plank on the ground for the artists to walk on, which adds to the illusion of being very high off the ground.
They all swear a lot, as rappers are wont to do, and most of them are extremely high, so you know it’s gonna be a good time. You can suss out the clip for yourself below.
Hell yeah. As one of the rappers says, “it’s all about the finesse, you know what I’m saying? Everything is finessable”. Truer words have never been spoken.
To be fair, I’ve tried a similar VR experience with a plank and it’s fucking terrifying. You know it’s absolutely fake, but your brain is pretty easy to trick with virtual reality. More of these videos please, 88Rising.
