When the Nintendo Switch first burst onto the gaming scene earlier this year, folks noted how much the Joy-Cons, when placed into the controller grip, look like a dog with bung eyes. I mean, have a look at it.
Ok, maybe it’s a little bit of a stretch, but if you yearn for a dog-like aesthetic while gaming, there’s a new accessory that’ll give you just that. It’s called the Pupper Controller Attachment and it’s just as absurd as its name.
Holy fucking shit. That’s both amazing and ridiculous at the same time. look at its little light-up eyes. Good lord.
Hysterics aside, this thing is actually useful. It contains a rechargeable internal battery that’ll charge your Joy-Cons as you play (USB Type-C compatible) and comes with three different “puppy smile” stickers for your enjoyment. Look at them. LOOK.
They reckon the curved grip offers enhanced comfort, but I certainly can’t vouch for that having not tried them, so you’ll just have to take their word for it.
If you’re keen for the adorable controller, you can grab one on Amazon from December 21. There’s no price there just yet, but Nintendo flog their own charging grips for around $40, so expect something in that ballpark.
I’d also like to point out the little mascot in the picture below. Look at the little guy.
BARKO. Just fuck me right up, dammit.
