Actor Macaulay Culkin, best known for his work as Kevin McCallister in the Home Alone movies, has been announced as the guest producer on the new ToeJam & Earl game.
ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove, which is out now, is a sequel to the original Sega games, the first of which was released back in 1991. It’s sure to be a good one with Culkin throwing some spice behind it. The announcement was made via the game’s Twitter page.
You may notice they wrote his name as Macaulay Macaulay Culkin Culkin, which is actually his real legal name. Last year, he let fans vote on what he should make his new middle name, and that was the winner by quite a margin. Being the absolute madman he is, he bloody changed it.
Culkin’s love for the series certainly isn’t a secret, given he recently tweeted about it himself, joking that he was going to play it instead of going to the Oscars. Classic gear.
You can check out the trailer for Back in the Groove below. It’s retro as hell, folks.
You can pick up the game right now for Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Mac.
