Drake Just Helped Some Nerd Absolutely Smash A Gaming World Record

Rappers are no strangers to a bit of Twitch streaming every now and then. Hell, Post Malone streams himself playing shit all the time. But right fucking now, Drake is playing Fortnite with one of the platform’s biggest streamers, Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins.

And the event has legitimately broken a record for the most viewers in a solo stream, which, at the time of writing, has 579,000 viewers. Wild.

The pair are playing duo matches of Fortnite’s Battle Royale mode, which involves 50 teams jumping into a huge map and battling it out until there’s only one left standing.

For the uninitiated, Twitch is a streaming platform for gamers that allows them to show live video of themselves and the game they’re playing.

While they’re primarily playing the game, Ninja is also low-key getting a sweet interview with Drake, talking to him about recording his new album, gaming, and just life in general.

Going by under the name TheBoyDuddus, Drake seems like a pretty big fan of the game. Look at how spiffy his character is. Very smart, sir.

The stream’s still going right now, so you can go right here to watch if you’re keen. I reckon they’ll hit a million viewers pretty soon, which is just fucking ludicrous.

Other big names are jumping in the stream, as well. From what I’m hearing, it sounds like Travis Scott is about to join the action. What a cast.
