Forbes posted an article about the announcement earlier today but has since taken it down. According to Kotaku, the news was supposed to be embargoed until tomorrow, but clearly, Forbes jumped the gun on that one. A member of the Nintendo Switch subreddit saw the article and posted a link, which, of course, goes nowhere now. There’s also some pictures of the article itself.

The Eternal Collection will hit the Switch at some point this year and include both the Reaper of Souls and Rise of Necromancer expansions. There’s no word on an Australian price just yet, but it’ll be flogged for $US59.99 ($82.49) in the US.

Like the Switch version of Skyrim, you’ll also be able to get a bunch of stuff from the Legend of Zelda series in the game, like a set of Ganondorf’s armour, a chicken pet, a Tri-Force portrait frame, and something called Echoes of the Mask cosmetic wings”.

Diablo III for the Switch will also feature multiplayer, both 4-player local and wireless co-op play. Once the Nintendo Switch Online service launches next month, you’ll be able to utilise cloud saves, as well as play online.

The action RPG has been rumoured for the platform for a little while now, but it’s certainly nice to have some confirmation. If you’re unfamiliar with the title, you can suss out some gameplay footage in the video below.
