If you’ve ever wanted to date a cat, the upcoming Steam dating sim/visual novel, Purrfect Date, will let you do just that… You weirdo.
Created by Bae Team and the folks behind Surgeon Simulator, Bossa Studios, the game dropped its official announcement trailer today. I suggest you watch it below because the song is 80 percent hilarious and 20 percent fucking weird.
Coming to PC and iOS later this year, you will play as a human character who legit dates talking cats whilst investigating the “mysteries of Cat Island“. Vibes.
Taking place across seven chapters, you will be able to play as different research assistants who are clearly conducting important and valuable research about the aforementioned feline island. In order to balance your stats, you must romance the resident cats.
“Cats, intrigue, dating sims, the TV show Lost… all of these things became the ingredients that went into making Purrfect Date,” said Bae Team co-founder, Ruby-Mae Roberts.
“It’s an amalgamation of everything we love, and in essence, a love letter to each other (and cats).”
