WIN: Tell Us Yr Fave ’90s Banger For A Chance To Fly A Fighter Jet Simulator

fighter jet simulator

I don’t know the complexities involved in becoming a fighter jet pilot but I’d assume it’d take more than a Bachelor of Arts. Maybe a Bachelor of  Engineering? Someone educate me.

Either way, I feel like I’m sitting pretty by assuming most of you out there are not pilots, let alone fighter jet pilots. So, we’re giving people the chance to be one for the day. Oh, babay.

WIN 1 OF 2 DOUBLE PASSES TO TEST YOUR SKILLS ON A FIGHTER JET

Just tell us in 25 words or less what ’90s banger you’d have playing in your fighter jet and you and a mate could get a double pass to ride on a fighter jet simulator which, if you haven’t seen them in action, are incredibly hectic. Plus, you’ll score a Captain Marvel prize pack with a Blu-Ray copy of the blockbuster flick, a bomber jacket and a stack of 11/10 memorabilia.

The comp’s open to every state in Australia so don’t feel like you can’t enter just because you live in a cave in the middle of the desert.

If you haven’t twigged by now, the whole comp is inspired by the release of Marvel Studios’ Captain Marvel on Blu-RayTM , DVD and Digital (out right now). If you’re one of the four people who haven’t seen it yet, here are a few spoiler-free highlights:

  • Brie Larson and Samuel L. Jackson might be the most charismatic duo to ever grace the screen.
  • There’s a whole lotta ultra-snack Jude Law being a bad dude.
  • A cat steals the show (and our hearts). This is coming from a cat-despiser too.
  • The entire flick is crammed with nostalgia-inducing ’90s references.
  • There’s a bonkers chase scene that takes you all over LA in a hot minute.

Of course, if you have already seen it, you’re most defo planning to pore over it an embarrassing number of times because that’s just what fans do. I know this because I’ve sunk most of my adult life into movies and I have zero regrets. Not a one. Okay fine, 15 regrets but none of them are movie-related.

The good news is that the release of Marvel Studios’ Captain Marvel to Blu-Ray and Digital comes crammed with additional footage so all of you who have already watched it 1400 times will be copping something new.

There’s a lot of new footage, so here’s just a taste of what’s in store on the Blu-RayTM and Digital edition: an alternative intro; a tonne of featurettes including The Origin of Nick Furysix deleted scenes and a classic gag reel.

There are also some Digital exclusives, like a doco on the Marvel Studios FX department and a showcase of the effort that goes into the action scenes. Yep, it’s intense.

Again, that’s justs scraping the surface so you’d better get to it, mates.
