We’ve been given another frightening peek at what to expect from the upcoming Venom movie and holy shit balls, my skin is crawling.
While the film’s first trailer focused on Tom Hardy in his human form and the other cast members (Michelle Williams, Woody Harrelson) we finally cop a better look at the dastardly venom character’s physique in all its gooey CGI glory, fangs and all and lemme tell ya, you don’t wanna fuck with this guy.
For those who aren’t comic book nerds like me, Venom is Spider-Man‘s arch-nemesis but, as with most comic characters (your Magnetos and what not) the pair sometimes joined forces to take down an even greater big bad before going back to being at each other’s fangs again.
From what I can ascertain from the trailers, it looks like the spinoff will focus on Venom as an anti-hero, of sorts.
Venom is directed by Zombieland‘s Ruben Fleischer and slated for an October release.
