After its recent debut in the US, Jordan Peele‘s reboot of The Twilight Zone has garnered positive reactions from fans and critics alike. Soon, the series will head to Australia, with its first episode set to air on Channel 10.

You won’t be able to watch all of it for free, though, as the rest of the series will feature exclusively on 10’s paid platform, 10 All Access, which is modelled after CBS All Access, but with less of the US network’s content. The first four episodes will be available on the service from April 19, with the remaining episodes to appear weekly.
The first episode will air on Channel 10 at 10:30pm on April 18, which is surely a targeted move to encourage fans to sign up for All Access.
The original Twilight Zone series was hosted by Rod Sterling and first aired in 1959, then remade in the 1980s. Both versions of the classic show are already available on 10 All Access.
Peele, who is well-known for his extremely good horror movies, Get Out and Us, hosts the series, but also co-developed it alongside executive producer, Glen Morgan, who worked on the iconic X-Files series.
In terms of cast, you’ve got some big names, including Adam Scott, Tracy Morgan, John Cho, Chris O’Dowd, Sanaa Lathan, Jessica Williams, Jacob Tremblay, Taisa Farmiga, Kumail Nanjiani, and more. The first episode stars Nanjiani as a principled artist faced with a tough decision.
10 All Access will set you back $9.99 per month if you’re keen to jump on board. By the looks of it, it’s the only way you’ll be able to legally watch the new Twilight Zone series in Australia.
