Timothée Chalamet Cries In The New ‘Beautiful Boy’ Trailer And You Might Too

The brand new trailer for Beautiful Boy has been bestowed upon us, and as in previous glimpses at the upcoming film, Timothée Chalamet and his anguished face are here to repeatedly punch you in your chest.

Based on the real-life chronicles of David Sheff (Steve Carell) and his methamphetamine-addicted son Nic (Chalamet), the film tracks the pair as they steer their way through the life-changing realities of substance abuse.

On festival screenings alone, the 22-year-old has already been heralded as a frontrunner for the next Best Supporting Actor Academy Award.

A nomination would see him go back-to-back after his nomination for Call Me By Your Name, and we suppose we should just let you clap eyes on his performance now:

Beautiful Boy, directed by Felix Van Groeningen with a screenplay by Aussie Luke Davies, also stars Maura Tierney and Amy Ryan. It hits US screens on October 12, and will hopefully rock up over here around then, too.
