Among several natural and man-made disasters that The Simpsons predicted (including Donald Trump becoming President), the iconic series may have also foreseen a major pop culture moment: The big twist in the recent episode of Game of Thrones (GoT).

In the latest ep, Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) goes NUTS on King’s Landing, ordering her dragons to kill scores of locals, much to the surprise of her comrades and viewers, as well.
Back in 2017, The Simpsons produced a Game of Thrones-inspired ep called The Serfsons which saw Homer, Marge and the rest of the fam living in an alternate medieval universe called Springfieldia.
In one scene during the episode, the characters stand on a balcony and watch a dragon burning the town to the ground which bears a striking similarity to Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) watching her city erupt in flames from her balcony.
