The Russo Brothers Dropped A ‘Community’-Related Teaser For Comic-Con

Community

The Russo Brothers AKA Joe and Anthony Russo are back at it again with the hint-hint and the tease-tease. This time, they’re teasing something Community-related and oh please let it be a movie.

Before they became known as Marvel’s No.1 boo, the Russo Brothers were known for their works on the small screen. Together, they directed and served as executive producers on 48 episodes of  Community, which is why there have been a heap of Community cameos sprinkled throughout the MCU. In Avengers: Endgame, none other than Ken Jeong appeared as a security guard.

Earlier this week, the Russo Brothers posted a Marvel-related tweet. It promoted their slot at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, name-dropped Infinity War, and featured the voice of Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige and lots and lots of cheering.

Fans were confused but went with it.

AND THEN, they posted this:

Recognise it?

According to the Comic-Con schedule,“A Conversation with the Russo Brothers” is 100 per cent locked in for 11:00am.

Per the description: “Come hear directors Joe and Anthony Russo reflect on Endgame and their epic road to it as they segue into life beyond Marvel with their new company, AGBO, which happens to include an exciting array of new and old creative friends.”

HMM.

(How goddamn cruel would it be if the Russo Brothers are just planning to talk about the series?)

Last month, Annie Edison actor Alison Brie said she would reprise her role for a Community movie at Netflix.

“I feel like if the Community movie ever gets made, it should just be made for Netflix, and it would be fun to do, but, I think it would be best if we could get everyone to do it, so I feel like that might be difficult,” she told Pop Culture.

So maybe, just maybe, “everyone” will make an appearance at Comic-Con and say what we all want to hear: SIX SEASONS AND A MOVIE.
