‘The Project’ Continues To Lord Over All TV, Will Now Air 6 Nights A Week

Channel Ten might be dealing with all that receivership shit, but that means nothing when it comes to their highly bankable show, The Project.

The news/entertainment program that shot Waleed Aly to fame has locked down yet another night on our boxes, taking over Modern Family‘s 6.30pm timeslot on Sundays as of August 27.

The Sunday show won’t feature Waleed or Carrie Bickmore, instead utilising the chiselled jaw of Dr. Chris Brown of Bondi Vet fame as co-host alongside Peter Helliar, Natarsha Belling and Rachel Corbett.

Long-time Project fans will remember when the show had a half-hour Sundayb slot back in 2012, which was swiftly dropped after a year. This new version will be a full hour long.

Ten’s program chief Beverley McGarvey made a statement on the extra timeslot for the long-running program.

The new Sunday show will offer an entertaining and engaging look at the news, current affairs and sport of the week that was and the week ahead.mThe Project is unique on Australian television and offers a different take on news and current affairs. We’re proud of what it has achieved and continues to achieve, and look forward to bringing more of The Project to viewers.

Prediction for next lot of The Project news: it’s announced that they’ll just be screening the show in every timeslot across all channels from 2018.
