Actor Wilf Scolding‘s Game of Thrones debut might have been about 15-seconds long, but as his character is something of an important one, he made one helluva splash.
He of course played Rhaegar Targaryen, who as we’ve now had confirmed was the husband of Lyanna Stark and father to Jon Snow, er, Aegon Targaryen. After the Game of Thrones finale aired last week, he tweeted his gratitude for being part of the show along with the hashtag #whosyadaddy. Nice.
Thankyou for all the lovely messages, you lot are Ace. Such a huge honour being part of a phenominal cast and show #GoTS7Finale #whosyadaddy

This is what he looks like in real life, by the way.

Since the episode aired, Wilf has been revelling in the attention that comes with being a huge (if mostly offscreen) character in one of the biggest shows in history – and unlike most of the Game of Thrones cast, he’s pretty active on social media.
The bloke has been clapping back to people on Twitter, and honestly it only makes us like him more.
Well you’re not my Rhaegar

They’re not all clapbacks, thought. He’s also been super nice to Game of Thrones fans. Bless.

It would be amazing to see Wilf-as-Rhaegar in some kind of flashback next season, but not all that likely tbh. We’ve seen all we ~technically~ need to see via flashback. It’s just death and destruction looming ahead.
