‘Stranger Things’ Season 4 Confirmation Teaser Shows Hawkins In Very Deep Shit

Stranger Things

Netflix has gone ahead and announced the fourth season of Stranger Things is on the way, a day after teasing fans with a particularly dank-looking clock.

In a brand new teaser trailer, the show’s beloved opening sequence and retro-inspired letterhead is warped by the malevolent badness of the Upside Down.

While no characters appear in the clip – unless you’re seeing something we can’t in the deliberately gloomy footage – the inference is clear.

Everyone is beyond cooked.

While it’s not a surprise that Netflix would choose to renew their most prized possession, the clip comes as welcome assurance for fans still twisted by Season 3’s harrowing finale.

In July, the Duffer Brothers, the brains behind this whole operation, told Entertainment Weekly that the overall picture for a potential Season 4 was already clear.

“We have the big broad strokes,” they said.

“It’s just now about filling in those lines in the details. We’re pretty excited about where it’s potentially going to go.

“Again, like we said, it’s going to feel very different than this season. But I think that’s the right thing to do and I think it’ll be exciting.”

That’s all well and good. Now it’s time to over-analyse this little clip until a new trailer rolls your way.
