Cop The Trailer For ‘Sorry To Bother You,’ The 2018 Comedy You Need To See

The first trailer for Boots Riley‘s buzzy Sorry To Bother You has arrived, and it’s already promising to be the indie comedy of the year.

Starring three names attached to the biggest films of last year – Lakeith Stanfield (Get Out), Tessa Thompson (Thor: Ragnorak) and Armie Hammer (Call Me By Your Name) – Sorry To Bother You is the directorial debut of rapper / producer Riley, who also wrote the script.

Stanfield stars as a down-on-his-luck telemarketer, who finds success when his co-worker tells him: “You want to make some money here? Use your white voice.”

His ‘white voice’ is actually Patton Oswalt, which is just some incredible casting tbh (the film also stars Terry Crews, Steven Yuen and Danny Glover).

Sorry To Bother You – which debuted at Sundance – hits select theatres across the United States on July 6; we’ll keep you updated on an Australian release.
