During her appearance on Good Morning Britain, the 62-year-old confirmed that Disney will be producing another film in the singing-nun franchise.

“We’ve been all over Disney begging,” Goldberg said. “They’ve decided that they’re going to go in a different direction with ‘Sister Act’.”

She went on to reveal that it’s looking like it’ll be more of a reboot kinda vibe rather than a follow up to the second flick which was released in 1993.

“It won’t be ‘Sister Act 3’; it will be a brand new rendition of ‘Sister Act’,” Goldberg explained, adding that she will most likely cameo in the flick “and I guess I’ll walk through a scene and that’s how they’ll say I was part of it.”

The cast of the OG 1992 flick reunited last year on Goldberg’s talk show The View for the film’s 25th anniversary, where they performed choir rendition of ‘I Will Follow Him’.
