As always, gossip mag yarns need to be taken with a grain of salt, but this one seems like an extraordinarily mundane turn of events to make up: Married At First Sight couple Sean and Tracey are rumoured to be getting their own spin-off TV show.
According to Now to Love, “sources at Channel Nine” have confirmed that the show is currently in development. The article also quotes Sean and Tracey themselves, but using the incredibly dubious phrasing of “Tracey and Sean confirm to NW they’re keen to start the cameras rolling on their new life together in Melbourne“, which could either mean that they are keen for this specific hypothetical show to start or just they are generally keen to be on TV again. Now to Love is also suggesting that couple Carly Bowyer and Troy Delmege will be a part of the show.
It’s difficult to imagine what shape a show starring the couple might take but I’m hoping that it’s some sort of Truman Show–style program that follows every second of their lives and documents their eventual descent into reality-questioning madness.
