Sandra Oh Fangirling Over The ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ Cast Is Wholesome As Hell

Sandra Oh

Here’s something that might just make you stupidly grin at your screens. At today’s Critics’ Choice Awards, Sandra Oh fully fangirled over the cast of Crazy Rich Asians.

She also won Best Actress in a drama series for her role in BBC America‘s Killing Eve.

A solid start to the year.

The win follows Oh’s incredible night at the 2019 Golden Globes, last week. The Canadian star became the first person of Asian descent to host the awards ceremony, the second Asian woman to win a Golden Globe in her category since 1981, and the first performer of Asian descent to win multiple Golden Globes.

Oh previously scored a Golden Globe for her performance as Dr. Cristina Yang in Grey’s Anatomy.

And now, she has a Critics’ Choice award to add to her pool room.

In her speech, Oh thanked her Killing Eve co-star Jodie Comer.

“Jodie, thank you so much. When it’s just the two of us on set, the entire world goes away and I am so appreciative of your trust and your talent,” Oh said. “It’s been one of the great privileges of my life to be on ‘Killing Eve’ and so thank you very, very much.”

THEN, THIS HAPPENED.

“Critics Choice winner Sandra Oh ran up to the CRAZY RICH ASIANS cast and is living!” New York Times journo Kyle Buchanan tweeted.

(She also ran onto the stage when she won her award.)

In the video, Oh can be seen embracing eternal empress Michelle Yeoh, Constance Wu, and Gemma Chan.

WHOLESOME.

Here’s another few seconds of the precious moment.

As for the Crazy Rich Asians crew, they also had a spectacular night at the awards ceremony, taking home the gong for Best Comedy.

The cast were just a tad thrilled backstage.
