Roxy Jacenko Is Getting Her Own TV Show On Ten Which Sounds About Right

Public relations heavyweight and perennial Sydney personality Roxy Jacenko is set to complete her leap from sideline figure to fully-fledged limelight haver thanks to her very own TV show on Channel Ten.

Ten, as part of their restructuring under new owners CBS, are taking a leaf out of their new US overlord’s book by running their first-ever Pilot Week later this year, where they’ll test-run a swathe of potential shows before commissioning the successful ones for full seasons.

Among the pilots set to be run through the audience wringer is a show to be helmed not only by Jacenko, but also – quite unbelievably – by vanquished Senator and chips-with-meat enthusiast Sam Dastyari.

The duo are reportedly set to team up on a show that will discuss the largest scandals of the week which – given Jacenko and Dastyari’s respective histories – sounds about bloody right.

There’s no further details available at this stage on either Jacenko and Dastyari’s pilot – or any of the other pilots slated for Ten’s Pilot Week, for that matter. However with all this said, the production of the pilot is obviously no guaranteed that the show will be picked up for a full series.

Regardless, a show about scandals, on Network Ten, co-hosted by at least Roxy Jacenko and Sam Dastyari…

Yeah look, probably worth a watch if only for the through-the-roof car crash potential.
