Grab Yr Post-Its ‘Coz The ‘Romy & Michele’s High School Reunion’ Cast Want A Sequel

Here’s some news worth writing home about via post-it: Mira Sorvino and Lisa Kudrow are “down” for a sequel to the 1997 cult classic Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion.

“[We] are all down for it. It’s just [up to] the powers that be,” she added.

She went on to reveal that she and the Friends star are still good mates, much like the on-screen besties they famously portrayed.

“I had lunch with [Lisa] two weeks ago,” she said. “We’re still good friends.”

She previously told the publication that she reckons fans would be keen for it and as a massive fan myself, I can vouch for this.

“The fans have been clamoring for it,” she said last year.

Kudrow expressed her interest in reprising her role as the ditzy Michele during a 2017 interview with E!

“If it makes sense for those two people to be around my age and see what’s going on,” she said of returning to the character.

As you may or may not be aware, the film had a straight-to-DVD prequel back in 2005 starring Katherine Heigl as young Romy but a sequel has never come to fruition.

Hopefully the rich AF Sandy Frink can fund a follow-up flick.
