Robert Pattinson Admits He’s Ready To Do More ‘Twilight’ Whenever You Are

Let’s preface this by saying you absolutely shouldn’t get your hopes up, considering the bloke’s public history of dunking on his most well-known work, but… Robert Pattinson has intimated he’d be ready to shoot another Twilight film tomorrow.

Speaking to Variety about his decidedly non-vampiric new project High Life, the 32-year-old was queried about the Twilight franchise. Nearly ten years since the first flick exploded onto screens worldwide, Pattinson said “I feel like I stopped mentally progressing around the time I started doing those movies.

“It feels like not a day has passed.”

When pressed on whether he’d considered getting the gang back together to film a new instalment of the saga, Pattinson said he had just spoken to his agent about the possibility of resurrecting the cinematic cornerstone of emo culture.

“The amount of time I spend moisturising… I am ready to play 17 at a moment’s notice. Ready. I’ve got the botox out.”

Was he joking? Yes. But was he really joking? Maybe.

Pattinson has spent the better part of the last decade appearing in smaller arthouse projects, including the experimental Cosmopolis and last year’s neon-lit thriller Good Time.

In the same time, Twilight costar and former partner Kristen Stewart has kicked on with turns in Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk and American Ultra, while Anna Kendrick has been basically everywhere.

Maybe if the gang gets back together, we can finally discover what happened to that cooked CGI baby. Come on Rob. Give us closure.
