The New York Fashion Week show will premiere on the platform Friday, 20 September, and is being described as a “radical departure from tradition, a one-of-a-kind event blending music, fashion, and culture.” Hello, YES.
Considering the reports that the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show isn’t happening this year, Savage X Fenty will absolutely fill that hole. Plus, it’s just more diverse and inclusive. Win, WIN.
The gorg show will celebrate the queen’s new Autumn / Winter 2019 collection, which I am more than prepared to spend all my money on.
“We are working on creating the most bold, sexy, super energetic experience you can imagine,” Rihanna shared on Instagram.
This is Rihanna’s second Savage X Fenty show after last year’s wildly successful and straight up fire event.
The artist / designer / activist described her first show as a mix of the “really organic, authentic things of the world” and a celebration of women in all forms, body types, races, and cultures.
Also, remember last year when model Slick Woods went into LABOUR after walking the runway?
At the time, Woods shared two fierce pictures of her look from the night with the caption:
