‘Rick And Morty’ Season 4 Hits Netflix This Month & That’s The Waaayyyy The News Goes

Hell yeah, you read that right! Rick and Morty season 4 is coming to Netflix Australia on December 22. That’s less than two weeks away. Christmas is around two weeks away. Bloody jeepers.

Minor end-of-year crisis aside, eagle-eyed fans of the beloved animated series spotted its release date on Netflix yesterday. It’s just sitting there above the show’s description, like it’s no big deal.

No really, I checked!

Fans way across the world in the United States of A are about four episodes into the fourth season. So it’s not quite fast-tracked, but it’ll do.

The latest season appears to be doing wonders with critics and fans alike. Entertainment Weekly described its premiere as “outrageously confident, and generally outrageous.”

(There are quite a number of spoilers in that review so better avoid that one if you don’t want to ruin season 4, episode 1 for yourself.)

As you would expect, season 4 has an impressive lineup of guest stars including Justin TherouxJeffrey WrightTaika WaititiSam NeillKathleen TurnerPaul Giamatti, and Elon Musk.

With full respect to all those guest stars and their characters, the only one I passionately care about right now is Glootie, voiced by Waititi.

Behold, the Thor: Ragnarok director as a cheeky purple alien. This is just a snippet Adult Swim shared earlier this year, there’s nothing very spoiler-y about it.

Rick and Morty season 4 comes to Netflix, December 22. Lock it in the hell in.
