Margot Robbie *Is* Sharon Tate In Her ‘Once Upon A Time In Hollywood’ Poster

It would be difficult to set a film in Los Angeles circa 1969 without reference to the Manson Family killings, and no film about the Manson Family killings would be complete without the likeness of actress Sharon Tate.

Quentin Tarantino knows this, and judging by the latest promo poster for Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, the production team made a solid call by casting Margot Robbie in the role.

The still conveys a mix of listlessness and ennui in keeping with the film’s setting, while also teasing Robbie’s turn as Tate, one of six people brutally murdered by cult members in one of the most famous crimes of the 20th century.

The poster comes just a day after Robbie’s co-stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt featured in another Once Upon A Time In Hollywood promo shot, featuring all of the macho 60s posturing one could ask for.

Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, not-so-subtly billed asTarantino’s ninth film out of a potential ten, will premiere on Aussie screens on August 15.
