WATCH: The “Ocean’s 8” Trailer Is Here And It Looks Fabulously Glamorous

The new Ocean’s 8 trailer hit Youtube overnight and Twitter’s been mostly loving it. Yes, people are going to get triggered by an all-female remake blah, blah, blah but if the sensitive-suddenly-passionate-fans stripped the title from the film, you’d just see a bloody quality trailer full of amazing talent.

Unlike the original Ocean’s 11 – the 1960 one sans George Clooney and Brad Pitt – this remake won’t include a Las Vegas casino robbery, instead it’s something ten times the glamour.

Ocean’s 8 tells the story of Debbie Ocean (Sandra Bullock) and seven thieves who try and pull off a heist at New York’s annual Met Gala. The Met Gala – the fashion event of the year where we all slave over our Instagrams as we see upload after upload of fashionable looks and unimaginable rich people stuff.

Instead of screwing off Terry Benedict, like in the 2001 version, the gals are trying to steal a necklace worth more than $150 million big ones. And it’s wrapped around celebrity Daphne Kluger’s (Anne Hathaway) neck.

If you haven’t seen the trailer yet, here it is below.

Yep, Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, Rihanna, and Helena Bonham Carter.

OH, and Dakota Fanning will make a surprise appearance while Matt Damon and Carl Reiner will return to their roles as Linus Caldwell and as the ever so adorable Saul Bloom. So, yes we can now assume Debbie is somehow related to Daniel Ocean.

Double OH, Anna Wintour, Kim Kardashian, Alexander Wang, Maria Sharapova, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Olivia Munn, Katie Holmes, Derek Blasberg, Lauren Santo Domingo, Adriana Lima, Hailey Baldwin, Serena Williams, and Zac Posen will be making cameo appearances.

Of course, Twitter had a lot of feelings about it.

Of course, some people hate it and think it’ll be like the all-female Ghostbusters but let’s be real, that movie was just a flop of a plot.

Ocean’s 8 however, looks genuinely good.

Talent, diamonds, and farsshunnn – done, done and diddly done.

Ocean’s 8 hits cinemas June 8.
