Folks, it’s bloody DINO WEEK. The good week. The best week of ’em all. No matter what your feelings on Jurassic World, the arrival of glorious new footage of dinos is absolutely cause for celebration. And new teaser footage has confirmed that the first trailer for the hotly anticipated sequel, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, will be arriving by the end of the week.
The teaser, released today, runs for a tight 15 seconds. Obviously this means you’re not gonna get much in the way of action, but hooley dooley does it ever make good use of its time.
Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, and the rest of the gang are quite clearly on the run during what appears to be a freakin’ volcanic explosion, taking refuge from an ensuing prehistoric stampede by sheltering against one of the park’s gyrospheres.
We reiterate, it ain’t much for the moment, but dinosaurs and volcanoes in the same movie should be more than enough to get the ole’ interest meter spiking.

The full trailer is now set to arrive this coming Thursday (potentially early Friday Australian time, depending on time zones and whatnot).
If that trailer carries even the tiniest skerrick of Jeff Goldblum we’re all gonna completely flip our shit.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom currently has a tentative release date of June 22, 2018 pencilled in. But we expect that to be more concrete come later in the release of the full trailer.
DINOS, MATES. GOOD DINOS EVERYWHERE.
