Netflix Pulled A Kids Cartoon Because Some Horny Mum Thought She Saw A Dick

Call me crazy or bitter or whatever, but every time a story like this comes up, I can’t help but picture some Marcia Langman-type with her nose half an inch from the screen going through endless hours of footage frame-by-frame and shrieking “PENIS!” each time she spots something vaguely phallic before she tuts and logs it in an extensive notebook while her unattended child huffs permanent markers in the background somewhere.

The children. Won’t somebody think of them.

Netflix has officially pulled down an episode of the kids cartoon Maya the Bee after a lone mother in the US spotted the barest hint of a hidden dick and balls tucked away in the background.

The mother, who goes by Chey Robinson, pulled the clip from the episode and posted it on Facebook, where it subsequently went viral earlier this week and did the rounds of ye olde social media.

The offending member in question comes in the form of what appears to be a crudely drawn schlong, etched into a tree that appears insanely briefly in the background of a scene.

The subsequent “investigation” into the shot reveals that… look, it *is* quite penisy.

Netflix has not released any official statement on the pulling of the episode, but presumably someone’s gotten the shaft over this.

Our take? It’s a shame the episode is gone, given the very important lesson it teaches children: Crudely scribbled dick drawings never stop being funny.
