Netflix Is Getting Festive AF With Its Massive List Of December Releases

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. And though it may be summer, for Netflix now is the winter of their fresh content.

The streaming giant has dropped its mammoth list of new releases that are scheduled to hit screens throughout December, and your holiday period viewing is well and truly sorted.

Leading the charge in both prestige and budget is the red ribbon brand’s premiere flagship series The Crown, which cops its long-awaited second season come December 8th.

Beyond that, the original content waterfall overfloweth, with a swathe of stand-up comedy specials hitting your various devices throughout the month, including one from the highly revered Judd Apatow.

December also marks Will Smith‘s official Netflix arrival, with the premiere of the original movie Bright set for December 22nd. The flick sees Smith cast alongside our own Joel Edgerton as a pair of LAPD cops in a mythical human/weird-ass creature hybrid world.

As for non-Netflix original stuff, it’s a big ass month. Along with the likes of The Dark KnightThe Revenant, and My Girl comes a whole hot mess of Christmas flicks that’ll well and truly tide your yule. We’re talking everything from Miracle on 34th Street and It’s a Wonderful Life all the way to the cult-hit holiday classic Jingle All The Way.

You weren’t planning on doing much in December anyway, right?
