Diego Luna Is Mexico’s Godfather In The New ‘Narcos: Mexico’ Teaser

And just like that, we’re one step closer to the fourth season of Narcos starring none other than talented sweetie pie Diego Luna. Overnight, Netflix unleashed a teaser trailer for season four and it looks just as cooked as the rest of the seasons.

New country, new cartel, new Narcos.

Yes, new country means we’ve 100 per cent waved goodbye to Javier Peña (Pedro Pascal). Fear not because that’s where our big names for the season step in.

Luna (Rogue One, The Terminal, The Book of Life) plays the boss of all bosses, Félix Gallardo, of the infamous Guadalajara Cartel. This cartel rose to absolute dominance in the 1980s thanks to Gallardo who unified a bunch of traffickers in order to build his empire – one whose action would take place right along the United States and Mexico border.

On a mission to bring him down this season is Michael Peña, who you might recognise from Fury, The Martian, Ant-Man, and Shooter to name a few.

Peña plays DEA agent Enrique ‘Kiki’ Camarena who moves his wife and child to Guadalajara to bring Gallardo to justice… however as we’ve learnt from earlier seasons – this isn’t going to be easy.

Gallardo or the El Padrino (Godfather) of Mexico as he was known as back during his reign, is currently in prison.

Narcos season four will hit Netflix, November 16.
