Much of the promotion before 2016’s largely disappointing Suicide Squad centred around Jared Leto’s on-set fuckery, including sending the cast dirty condoms, anal beads, and even a rat to co-star Margot Robbie.
That’s all well and good, but Robbie has revealed she took the pranks to another level: she called none other than Prince Harry explicitly to mess with his head.
Speaking to The Sun – yes, we know, but hear us out – the Oscar nominee said she was palling around with Suicide Squad’s own Cara Delevingne when the latter suggested giving Ol’ Harry a cheeky buzz.
Robbie said the Brits actually knew each other already, but that didn’t stop Robbie from expressing a lil’ reticence.
“I said, ‘We can’t prank-call royalty’, but anyway we did — and he was so cool with it,” Robbie said.
While she didn’t divulge exactly what was said during the call, you’d have to imagine that mischievous pair operating in the midst of Leto’s weird method acting would have cooked up something foul.
In any case, Robbie said “Prince Harry is so nice. England literally has the coolest royalty in the world.”
She also recalled the time she actually met Harry at inside a photobooth at a London party, but only realised afterwards. FWIW, he was wearing a goofy pair of glasses and a cap, which is obviously enough to obscure the fact one is an integral part of the British monarchy.
