Margot Robbie Debuts Harley Quinn’s Rave Cave Look In ‘Birds Of Prey’ Teaser

The first teaser for Suicide Squad spin-off Birds Of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) has arrived, featuring the titular antiheroine and a slew of new characters set to enter DC‘s cinematic universe.

Star Margot Robbie resumes her role as the famously chaotic Quinn in the short clip, and appears to have traded out that ringer tee for the tattered remnants of an Ultra Music Festival get-up.

Robbie also took to Instagram to share a more detailed look at her costume, which features the name ‘Bruce‘ on a dog tag. We can only assume Quinn is fully aware of Batman’s civilian identity, then.

Joining her are co-stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jurnee Smollett Bell, Rosie Perez, and Ella Jay Basco, who portray Huntress, Black Canary, Gotham City detective Renee Montoya, and potential Batgirl Cassandra Cain, respectively.

Then there’s Ewan McGregor as the significantly evil Black Mask, and a bleach-blond rendition of Chris Messina as Victor Zsasz, one of the Batman‘s gnarliest opponents.

Birds Of Prey marks a continuation for the saga established in Suicide Squad, but the teaser has already established a markedly different feel to that big-budget misstep. Director Cathy Yan‘s fresh take on Quinn and her band of misfits is slated to arrive early next year.
