Appearing on Good Morning America, the Fab Five – Jonathan Van Ness, Bobby Berk, Karamo Brown, Tan France, and Antoni Porowski – were promoting season three of their hit show.

“When we met a year ago, we were strangers and we were still getting to know each other and now we are clear on who we are, what we’re going to do to help the heroes, how well we work together, it’s just a better chemistry,” culture expert Karamo said to kick things off.

Then, about six minutes into the interview, GMA host Michael Strahan decided to just casually check in with Mama Tammye.

A lot of screams and shouts and tears followed.

Mama Tammye, from season two’s first episode, is quite simply the epitome of love, warmth, and all that is good in the world.

In her episode, Bobby remodelled her town’s community centre.

“Babies, I just want to say Mama is so grateful, not only did you transform my life, you transformed my family’s, a whole community, my nominator, everybody and for that I am eternally grateful,” she said.

Mama Tammye also read out a beautiful entry from her journal.

“Dear God, one of the blessings you brought to not only me but the whole community of Gay, Georgia, is five boys that I am now proud to call my sons,” she begun. “Antoni, Bobby, Jonathan, Karamo, and Tan are instruments of your love and grace through a hurting world. Allow them to see that their purposes are making this planet a better place.”

AMEN.

On Instagram, Mama Tammye’s son Myles, shared a couple of sweet photos from the reunion and hoo boy’ it’ll make you immediately want to rewatch her episode, God Bless Gay.

You can catch season three of Queer Eye on Netflix.
