Lana Condor’s Down For The ‘To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before’ Sequel

I don’t know the official numbers but I’m going to say a strong 99 per cent of Netflix’s audience is stanning their latest romcom To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before – I mean, it’s trending on Twitter making lead star, Lana Condor a very, very happy girl.

If you’ve yet to bless your life with this movie, To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before welcomes us into the aesthetically pleasing life of one Lara Jean Song Covey (Lana Condor), a Year 11 student. Like any of us, Lara Jean’s experienced some rather strong crushes throughout her young life and though she’s never confronted any of the boys she’s had feelings for, she has written them love letters.

There are five letters in total. One for “Peter the most popular guy in school, Kenny from camp, Lucas from homecoming, John Ambrose from Model UN, and Josh…”

Unfortunately, Josh is also Lara Jean’s older sister’s boyfriend so when all the letters suddenly get sent out to all five boys, shit hits the fan.

Co-starring are the fabulous Noah Centineo as Peter, Israel Broussard as Josh, Janel Parrish as older sister Margot, and John Corbett as Lara Jeans’ dad.

Anywhoo, the book turned film is doing pretty well with critics and is receiving a whole lot of love for the amount of diversity in the film. Did my little Asian heart flutter watching this movie? Yes, yes it did.

In sad news, the film only goes for an hour and a half but in absolutely delightful news there are TWO MORE BOOKS.

Following TATBILB, there’s P.S I Still Love You and Always and Forever, Lara Jean – D R E A M Y.

Earlier this week in an interview with Teen Vogue, Condor was asked about a possible sequel for the streaming giant to which the 21-year-old answered:

“I would love to. I haven’t heard of anything official, but I’ve heard some very positive things. I think it all comes down to if people watch the movie and if they’re vocal about it in a positive way. So, we’ll see. I would love to do a second and a third one.

And I know when we were shooting it — Noah, Israel, Janel, everyone — we all talked about wanting to start the second one immediately after. So, we’re definitely on board. We’ll see what happens. I sure hope we get it.”
