Swap the amazing colourful clothes, long hair, and scrunchie for short hair, tattoos, a katana, and an all black look and you’ve got Lana Condor in her new telly series Deadly Class.

As you may guess from that title, this ain’t no sweet To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before romcom. Although, there may be some ~ romance ~ involved.
Based on the American comic book series of the same name by Rick Remender, Deadly Class tells the story of young Marcus Lopez – a high schooler who’s new to King’s Dominion Atelier of the Deadly Arts otherwise known as a school for budding assassins. The not so average school is run by Master Lin and is filled with students from all sorts of backgrounds and by this I mean mob bosses and various (killer) criminals… so there’s really no Yakult-drinking-boys in sight.
Newcomer, Benjamin Wadsworth plays Marcus and although he’s no Noah Centineo/Peter Kavinsky I’m sure he’ll do a stellar job. By the looks of the teaser Marcus is already completely in love with Condor’s character – fellow student and complete badass Saya Kuroki. To make matters spicier, Marcus is told to stay away from extremely dangerous Saya but obviously can’t because she’s brilliant.
Condor recently shared her new hair on Instagram and she looks STUNNING.
Avengers: Infinity War and Doctor Strange star Benedict Wong plays Master Lin.
And just like most things these days, the series is based in the 1980s.

Deadly Class is still currently filming but the plan is to have it out on SyFy in 2019.
