Ariana Grande’s New Song Inspired ‘Glee’ Star Kevin McHale To Come Out

Former Glee star Kevin McHale has made his first public statement about his sexuality, coming out as gay on Twitter, and weirdly enough, we have Ariana Grande to thank for it.

Ariana’s new banger ‘No Tears Left To Cry‘ came out yesterday – we had a lot of feelings about it, and so did the rest of the internet, and apparently, so did McHale.

“#NoTearsLeftToCry is gayer than me and I accept it,” he wrote, tagging the singer in his Tweet and thanking her for … well, I assume for just being a generally fabulous entity.

He also asked Ariana for a remix of the track featuring Janet Jackson, and look, that seems like a pretty reasonable request, all things considered. Grande has yet to respond.

Earlier this week, Kevin McHale shared a photo of himself snuggling fellow actor Austin McKenzie at Coachella, stoking a persistent rumour that the pair are dating.

McHale got his big TV acting break on Fox‘s Glee, where he played the character of Artie Abrams for six seasons, until the show came to is end in 2015.

More recently, he and McKenzie appeared together in the eight-part miniseries When We Risewhich chronicled the early days of the gay rights movement in the United States.
