Jonah Hill Is Reportedly In Talks To Be The Superbad Villain In The New ‘Batman’ Flick

Jonah Hill

Jonah Hill, two-time Oscar nominee and unfortunate coffee-dropping man, is reportedly in talks to join Robert Pattinson in DC’s new spin on Batman.

Pattinson, most known for Twilight but also The Lighthouse and Good Time, was officially announced as the new Caped Crusader back in June. He takes the wheel from Ben Affleck. Good times.

Matt Reeves (Cloverfield, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Planet of the Apes) will helm the film, replacing Affleck as director after he dropped out in January 2017.

Sources tell the big guns, like Variety, that Hill is currently in talks to join the film in an undisclosed role – well, undisclosed but apparently a villain role. This is all source-talk so don’t get too excited but The Hollywood Reporter says the team is either tossing up between The Penguin or the Riddler. Not mad at that at all.

Also, Westworld star Jeffrey Wright is also reportedly in talks to star as Commissioner Gordon. Again, not mad at this.

It is still early days though so not much else is known, but we do have a planned release date – 25, June 2021.

Production is said to begin in late 2019 or early 2020.

To conclude: Here is Jonah Hill freaking out over Julie Andrews on The Graham Norton Show a couple of years back. This is completely irrelevant to Batman but I just really like it.

In other news, if you don’t know what I mean by “unfortunate coffee-dropping man” head on over to the below.
