John Krasinski Admits It Was He Who Played The Aliens In ‘A Quiet Place’

There is suddenly a glut of news about A Quiet Place, with John Krasinski confirming that he is writing a sequel to the hit horror film despite the fact he initially told Paramount Pictures that they should proceed without him.

During a Q&A at the Silver Screen Theatre in Los Angeles, Krasinski said that he was spurred on by an idea he had for a possible sequel, which producers encouraged him to think about:

I had this small idea for a sequel, but I didn’t think it would go anywhere. So, I said to the studio, ‘Just go do the movie with somebody else.’ They heard some pitches, and I told [producer] Drew [Form] about this little idea. And he told me to think about it a little longer. And then I thought, ‘This might really work.’ So, I’m currently writing the sequel.

Okay. That’s wonderful. But the real news about A Quiet Place today is that Krasinski admitted he played the aliens in the original film. Speaking to Jimmy Kimmel, he confirmed that he donned the motion capture suit to play the sound-hating aliens, and that “nobody knows it because [he] kept it quiet.”

As proof, here’s a pic:

Amazing. Brilliant. Stunning. An actor at the peak of his abilities.
