Jessica Jones fans, it’s nearly time. Earlier today, Netflix unleashed its official trailer for season three and it looks like we’re in for another extremely dark, extremely violent time. YAY!
In the upcoming season, Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) will come up against the highly intelligent and very unhinged-looking psychopath Gregory Salinger (Jeremy Bobb). To (hopefully) take him down, Jessica puts the events of season two behind and re-teams with Trish (Rachel Taylor).
According to the official synopsis: “a devastating loss reveals their conflicting ideas of heroism, and sets them on a collision course that will forever change them both.”
Season three also stars Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix Trilogy), Eka Darville (Empire), Benjamin Walker (Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter), Jeremy Bobb (Russian Doll), Sarita Choudhury (Homeland), Tiffany Mack (Hap and Leonard), Jessica Frances Dukes (The Good Wife), Aneesh Sheth (New Amsterdam) and Rebecca DeMornay (The Hand that Rocks the Cradle).
Season three of Jessica Jones will hit Netflix, June 14.
This is either a cheeky (and very fake) tease to attract interest or a legitimate tease but earlier this year, in response to a fan’s tweet, showrunner Melissa Rosenberg hinted that maybe, just maybe we haven’t seen the last of Killgrave, or the image of him anyway. The Purple Man was portrayed by the excellent David Tennant in season one and a bit of season two.

Could the Purple Man return in a hallucination, a dream, a messed up simulation of some sort? Stay tuned.
June 14 – lock it in, highlight it, circle it, you know the drill.
