Stop every goddamn thing you’re doing right now, because Disney has just dropped the trailer for the highly-anticipated, years-late film The Incredibles 2.
Mr. Incredible (Craig T. Nelson) is navigating the life of a stay-at-home-dad, while his wife Elastigirl (Holly Hunter) is off doing some badass, secret, superhero shit, instigated by Frozone (Samuel L. Jackson).
Dash and Violet are trying to convince their parents to let them in on the cool saving people gig, while lil’ Jack-Jack – yes, STILL a baby after all these years – is discovering his powers.
It’s been fourteen years since the Incredibles (still the ultimate superhero film imo, DO NOT COME AT ME – with maybe a tiny exception for Black Panther). Disney, wtf were doing giving us multiple Cars sequels when you could have been doing this. The time has come for an Incredibles Cinematic Universe and I am goddamn here for it.
The Incredibles 2 is in cinemas on June 15, which is not soon enough.
