WATCH: Honey Is Back To Sass Frozone In New ‘Incredibles 2’ Trailer

The new Incredibles 2 trailer dropped overnight and in less than a day has scored an easy three million views. It’s also currently ranked at number three on Youtube to nobody’s surprised.

After 14 years, people are just beyond excited for the sequel’s release.

So in this new trailer we get a way better understanding of the plot so here’s the gist:

Super-Mum Helen (Holly Hunter) is chosen to lead a new campaign as Elastigirl to reignite the love for superheroes around the world. Bob (Craig. T Nelson) is a bit shook by this but he accepts it and takes on the role of devoted Super-Dad of their three kids Violet (Sarah Vowell), Dash (Huck Milner), and little baby shit Jack-Jack. The plot isn’t in real time so Jack-Jack is still a wee little babe and still discovering the limits of his power. Of course, a new villain pops up (who you see in the trailer) and all hell breaks loose but it’s nothing the family and Frozone (Samuel L. Jackson) can’t handle.

Speaking of Frozone, everyone’s absolutely chuffed about the last few seconds of the trailer because a) Frozone’s definitely back and b) so is Frozone’s sassy wife Honey. But tbh, it’s mostly because of the latter.

Right at the end of the trailer we see Bob calling Frozone for help who is beyond excited to hit the road again.

Frozone: “I’ll be there, ASAP,” he says and grabs his suit which he actually finds this time.

Honey: “Where you going ASAP? You better be back ASAP.”

The entire thing is literally just a few seconds and yet my childhood heart is skipping a beat.

And what makes this even better is how Honey is reportedly now voiced by LaTanya Richardson-Jackson – Samuel’s real-life partner. Amazing.

If you haven’t seen the trailer yet, you can catch it below.

Also, EDNAAA.

Of course, Twitter abso-bloody-lutely loved it to bits.

True.

The sequel was written by Brad Bird who also wrote the original and Ratatouille so we’re all feeling pretty confident our childhood dreams will not be smashed to smithereens.

Incredibles 2 will hit cinemas June 15.
