‘I Think You Should Leave’ To Get A Second Season Which Ain’t Stinky At All

The incredibly good and deeply weird breakout Netflix hit I Think You Should Leave is set to live to ride another day, with the streaming giant confirming the Tim Robinson-fronted sketch series will be returning for a second season in 2020.

Netflix officials confirmed the critically acclaimed – and very, very good – sketch series will return next year in a series of Tweets posted earlier this morning.

The series featured a string of what Robinson called “bottom desk drawer” sketches yielded from his time at SNL, the bulk of which were too straight-up weird for network TV.

Fortunately for us all, they found a home on Netflix, and we are all the better for it. Case in point, the utterly ridiculous Focus Group sketch.

Imagine a world where that wasn’t committed to film. That was nearly us, folks. Disaster narrowly averted.

And if that alone doesn’t convince you to give the series a red-hot crack, allow me to take this thinly opportune moment to post a sketch from Robinson’s episode of previous Netflix series The Characters; a sketch that I will take literally any opportunity to post from now until the end of time.

Sammy Paradise is the goddamned truth.

I Think You Should Leave season two will arrive on Netflix at some point in 2020.
