That’s right, Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly are back at it with their latest comedy/no doubt very mysterious flick Holmes and Watson.

It’s like Step Brothers and Talladega Nights but… with the Queen and hats.
Ferrell stars as the Sherlock Holmes while Reilly plays his loyal best mate Dr. John Watson.
Kelly Macdonald, Rebecca Hall, Rob Brydon, Hugh Laurie, and Voldermort Ralph Fiennes co-star.
No surprise, Fiennes plays another evil chap AKA Professor James Moriarty AKA Sherlock’s mortal enemy.
As the trailer shows, Sherlock and Watson are dealt the mother of all cases when Moriarty threatens to kill the Queen unless the best mates can solve his puzzle in just four days.
This aside, the best part of this trailer has to be the fact that “No shit, Sherlock” actually happens at exactly 1:20.
Also, Adam Scherr AKA Braun Strowman from WWE is randomly in this too but sure, why not? The more the merrier.
Holmes and Watson will land in cinemas Christmas 2018.

Meanwhile, the uh more traditional take on the classic tale starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law has officially copped a third film.
Back in May, The Hollywood Reporter revealed the untitled Sherlock Holmes 3 is set for a Christmas 2020 release.
Downey Jr. and Law will reprise their roles as the iconic duo for a script written by Chris Brancato. The screenwriter previously worked on Netflix‘s Narcos from 2015 to 2017 so good things are coming.
Sherlock Holmes 3 is preceded by Sherlock Holmes and Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows – both excellent films.
There’s also Benedict Cumberbatch‘s Sherlock Holmes simply titled Sherlock. Martin Freeman co-stars as a very complicated Watson but overall, the series is generally complicated and will make you feel a lot of things. 10/10 recommend.
